Youth Activities
Delta Recreation Youth Programs are designed to serve children of school age in Delta County. We are dedicated to providing fun, entertaining and educational activities, that will help our youth explore their interests and talents. Each season we will be adding different trips, camps, activities and after school sessions so don't forget to visit us and see what we are up too!

The Kid's Garden Club is a FREE club that will focus on learning about gardening, healthy eating and physical activity. The club will meet on Monday's May- Oct. Kids who attend at least 3 weeks will receive a discount on Summer or Fall programs. Discount cards will be issued by the Garden Club Associate.
· 3rd -5th graders (AGES 8-11 years old) can participate
· Closed toe shoes are required
· Bus 111 drops off at the Rec Center during the school year

Where the wild things are!
June 3-6th, 2024
Join us as we explore the wild world of Insects, Animals and Sea Creatures! We will have a blast learning about the weird and wonderful creatures of the world through all kinds of activities. We will play games, make crafts, explore nature, and so much more!
Recycled STEM!
July 8-11th, 2024
This week we will be learning all about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through the use of Recycled Materials! We will gather from anywhere and everywhere that normally would be used for other things and use them to make the coolest STEM projects! We will be inspired by Rube Goldberg machines, Elephant toothpaste, and Shoebox Pizza Ovens!
Build your own Board Game!
July 15-18th, 2024
Have you ever wanted to create your own game or be a life sized game piece? This week you can do both! We will be playing all kids of board games, including a couple of life sized games in which you are the game piece! Then we will design and build your own game to take home with you!

Summer Teen Nights!
Ages: Students going into 6th through 8th grade

Glow in the dark capture the flag!
Join us at the Fort for a night of Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag! We will be split into teams and battle it out for bragging rights and maybe a few cool prizes too! We will play a bunch of rounds and have a ton of fun!

Outdoor Movie Night
We will be having a movie night on the lawn, Bring your chairs and blankets and we will provide snacks and drinks!

Team Games Night
Join us for a night full of team games! Put your team together, put on your team uniform, and be ready to compete in gym games, board games, trivia, and more! Bragging rights and prizes are at stake!

Paint and Snack Night
We will have a local artist providing a step by step painting class! Join us to learn to paint along with our artist or create your own masterpiece while snacking on some super fun treats and drinks!
