Welcome to the Fitness Department! Our goal is to help you maintain or attain a healthy life-style. Our staff of group fitness instructors and personal trainers are caring, highly qualified, and listen to your needs.





Fitness Classes

Come join us for a class!  We have something to suit all levels.  Check the schedule.  We have some new additions. Spin-bata will be returning Wednesdays at 4:30, and the 6 am Body Bar is now Power Pilates and Pump.  TRX is going to have a different system.  We have gone to a Drop In or Punch card system with a required call-in reservation required the day before the class. We will be adding an additional TRX class on Tuesdays at 4:30 with Betsy beginning in March. 




Ongoing fitness classes are designed for all fitness levels. They include: Cycle/Abs, Tabata, Spin-Bata, Dance Fit, Body Bar, Pilates, HIIT, Total Body Blitz, Yoga Fusion, Morning Ride, Long and Strong, Senior Circuit, Silver Sneakers Classic, and Move It or Lose It. All of these classes are included in regular admission/membership.  The Aquatics Department also holds regular water fitness classes.  Check for the schedule under Aquatics.


Personal Training

The Fitness Department has 6 certified personal trainers accustomed to working with all ages and levels of fitness.  Direct specific questions to the Fitness Department.  Other options are available, such as Orientations, TRX Orientations, Body Composition Analysis, Functional Movement Screening along with one-on-one personal training. Personal Training Request Packet - This is also available at the Front Desk.  This packet needs to be turned in with payment before a trainer can schedule with you.

Cardio and Weight Rooms

The cardio and weight rooms are equipped with a variety of high quality equipment. The Cardio room has treadmills, elliptical trainers, climbers, rowing machines, arc trainers, helix trainers, and recumbent and cycle bikes.  Bring your music device and headphones. The equipment is cardio theater capable.  The Weight room is equipped with free weights - dumbells ranging from 5 to 125 pounds, barbells, power racks, benches, and cable crossover, as well as TRX and Magnum selectorized machines.   The Fitness Department offers orientations and qualified personal trainers to assist you.  


Youth Fitness Area Privileges

All youth ages 10-14 and a guardian MUST sign the Fitness Area Privileges contract before being allowed to use any of the Fitness areas. This waives the Orientation policy, but orientations are still offered and encouraged for a fee of $15. 

Age Restrictions still apply. Once the contract is signed:

Ages 10-12 may use the cardio machines and circuit machines and MUST be accompanied by an adult. No free weight use allowed. 

Ages 13-14 may use any of the Fitness areas. 

** Note: The Aerobics Room is still off limits for personal use.
