Crisis Prevention Unit

The City of Delta  Crisis Prevention Unit (CPU) is a new team of case workers providing street outreach to any and all vulnerable populations including  persons experiencing homelessness within the City of Delta. This new team will work in collaboration with the Delta Police  Department. Street outreach activities will include the provision of case management services  to assist in housing, lowering barriers to services, code enforcement issues, and connection to  services.

CPU has established a one-stop shop for resource connection in  coordination with area services providers. The new Resource Center is located in Westminster Hall at 135 4th Street, Delta, CO 81416 each Wednesday from 11:00am to 1:00pm.   The City is working to establish a rotation of service providers to be present including Hilltop, Tri-County, Workforce Center, and many others. 

During most Wednesdays in May, the Delta County Ambulance District will also be present at the Resource Center to provide medical services.
