Over the last four years Raico has made a tremendous impact on the Delta Police Department and City of Delta as a whole. His amazing detection skills have led officers to an immense amount of illegal narcotics. He has assisted with the tracking of lost children and elderly citizens. He has single “pawedly” :) taken down multiple dangerous felons, reducing the risk to citizens and officers alike. We’d also be remiss not to mention the countless smiles he’s brought to Delta’s kids at parades and other local functions.
Even with all of Raico’s crime fighting skills, it’s hard to imagine the past four years without seeing the excitement in his eyes when he comes to work every day. We all know he’s here before we even see him. All you can hear are his paws and claws sliding as he drifts every corner in the building on his way to say hello to everyone.
With the assistance of local experts, Raico is currently training his new partner. We can’t wait to see the two of them out doing what Raico loves and was born to do.
